a drag persona ‘madra’ for a collective show @bacchanalia_party. ‘madra’
is a perception of an angry mother figure, embracing her aggression and
intimidation. the performance aimed to bring out the almost-universal
sense of insecurity and fear towards family members. the intimate-but
-collective environment, dark ambiance, red lighting and specifically built
soundtrack placed emphasis on the emotions of a lost child. outfit made
with a latex mask, altered second-hand clothes, white face paint,
jewelery. performance curated collectively with tymon zaniewski, artemis
liakou, hannah reiter, leonor peereboom, mario nijenhuis, lena stec-
kamińska, bacchanalia team, keuken confessies with the help of
community experiment grant.
